Last lap in Tasmania

Well here we are on the north coast -- as beautiful as the rest. However, we are wondering what has happened to the weather. We came through a small town yesterday at 2:45p.m. and it was 5 DEGREES!! You could see the snow hanging in the clouds. The locals are all mystified -- already into autumn and summer hasn't happened. Today on Mount Wellington the temperature never got above -1 and of course there was snow again. However, this is not the norm. The fact remains that Tasmania is superb. We will be back. We love it.

We are off on the boat to Melbourne on Monday. Guess what - first stop Winnebago!! We set off in high spirits with a dry van -- no leaking toilet, no leaking tap. It lasted 24 hours. The toilet is great -- finally and thank goodness -- but Warwick opened the cutlery drawer the other day to find it overflowing, worse than ever, so here we go again. It is such a pain. Any of you thinking of buying a Winnebago, take care!!

All for this post. The next one will be a summary of photos.
